Custom Dashboards

Beyond the Default Dashboard, CX9 supports unlimited custom dashboards β€” blank or duplicated canvases you configure with your own sections and widgets.

Custom Dashboards

Creating a Dashboard

Add New Dashboard (header button) opens a naming modal. The new dashboard starts empty ("Start Building Your Dashboard") and is added to the dashboard selector dropdown.

Building the Dashboard

Edit Mode (header toggle) unlocks dashboard building: adding sections, widgets, and sub-screens.

Add Section

Creates a named container to group widgets within a dashboard or sub-screen.

Add Widget

Nine widget types available:

Custom Dashboard_2

WidgetPurpose
Stat CardSingle metric
Multi-Value CardMultiple related metrics together

IframeEmbed external content
Flow ChartProcess/workflow visualization
Data TableTabular data β€” source is Agent Details or Queue Details
Line ChartTrend over time

Data Table Widget

When adding a Data Table widget, you configure:

  • Table Name
  • Data Source β€” Agent Details or Queue Details (pulls from the same data backing the Agents/Queues table views)

Edit Widget

Existing widgets can be edited for title, data source, and refresh interval.

Sub-Screens

Widgets like navigation cards can open a dedicated Screen View β€” a separate canvas with its own sections/widgets and an optional marquee (scrolling ticker) banner, reached via "Add Section" inside the sub-screen.

Managing Dashboards

Dashboard Settings

Opens a management list of all dashboards (rename, delete, reorder).

Import / Export

  • Export β€” downloads the current dashboard's configuration as JSON.
  • Import β€” uploads a previously exported JSON config to recreate a dashboard.

Slideshow Mode

Configure a rotation of dashboards to auto-cycle through (useful for wallboards):

  • Select which dashboards to include (checklist of all five+ custom dashboards).
  • Set slide duration.
  • Start Slideshow.
